We have updated the site to a newer version of the SVN.

It added some new blocks and a few new forum features.  Stay tuned for even more updates (such as downloads or weblinks) soon.

Newly added to the phpBB-Evolution site is the phpBB-Evolution Blog. Its to serve as an outlet for developers to keep you users updated on the project. So in the upcoming weeks, you should see some articles about what we are doing and whats on the planning board, etc. Also, there might be some custom pages created on things.

So head over to http://blog.phpbb-evolution.com and check it out.

I have update the site to a newer version. This release now includes the ability to add comments to the news, site maps, a couple new forum mods, and a number of bug fixes.

I need to make it clear that this project is still VERY EARLY in development and we are working hard to keep it going. That may mean that there will be times that development has "stalled" for a period of time. This is not something to worry about. It happens!! This project will continue.

We are still looking for people to help us develop this project.  If you think you can help please read this post.

One more thing I want to clear up this project is NOT making a phpbb3 portal as defined by most people. We are building a CMS around phpbb3. As such we are leaving the phpbb3 as untouched as possible. The hope is to allow many people to upgrade and change their sites without having to do a lot of modifications like some other out there.

    Welcome to phpBB-Evolutionby Technocrat / Thu Apr 03, 2008 10:32 am

What you are seeing here is a very early stage of the Alpha release. Currently only the News module is active.

I have updated this site to give people an idea on the look and feel of our project and to keep everyone up to date on new features and functionality.

Please check out the forums for more information including how to become a contributer to the project and/or how to view and access the project.
